"I was born in Washington State and moved to California right after graduation," says Kristi. "I've been involved in missionary work with my church organization in a group called 'Youth with a Mission.' We went down to work in a slum area of New Orleans. I was there for a summer; we worked with black single mothers and their babies. They're very poor, and our church group went to help them to raise their children and to give them some hope in their lives. I'm very involved in my non-denominational Christian church here in Los Angeles. 
"I'm also a certified fitness trainer. I train people in diet and exercise, and I counsel them one-on-one. I love to travel. I'm dreaming of taking a year off from my career someday soon and buying a round-trip ticket around the world."
